We were given the Gold Seal of Approval by the Joint Commission, and in order to receive this honor we underwent an in-depth on-site evaluation where we were held to nearly 150 standards, all of which are aimed to promote patient safety and high quality care. This on-site evaluation is a recurring process which includes peer reviews to ensure that we continually hold ourselves to the highest standards. Accreditation is not limited to Dr. Ishoo, it is a team effort in which each and every one of our staff members participate in.
